Kid Cudi -An Actor?

So I was browsing thru my favorite hip hop websites and I came across, this article, that Kid Cudi the Man on the Moon himself, is taking a lead role in a HBO series called "How To Make It In America", from the same guys who produced the hit HBO series "Entourage". Cudi says, "It has no reference to my music. It was important to me early on to branch away from music and actually do something outside my comfort zone; When we were developing my character with the writers, I was telling them, ‘Man, I don't want to be anything that has to do with music,’ just because that's not really acting."

Cudi's album "Man on the moon :The End Of Day" is scheduled to come out September 15th, and will feature people such as, Kanye, Common, Clipse, Snoop Dogg and more.
